Who We Are

In 2013, Jesus Power Assemblies of God, Chandler, AZ was birthed through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, working through the Boakye Danquah family’s move from Ohio to Arizona. With prayers and the blessings of Head Pastor Bismark Osei Akomeah, the church began as a small fellowship gathering at the Danquah residence.

As the fellowship grew, other brethren—Pastor Bismark Owusu, Blessing Antwi, Deacon Maxwell Abiam Danso, and Deacon Charles Smith—joined, meeting on Fridays and Sundays in each other’s homes. This reflected Acts 2:42:

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

On September 20, 2013, the church was officially unveiled with 17 members under the guidance of Head Pastor Akomeah from Ohio.

A Place to Call Home

On June 24, 2018, after three years of dedicated prayer, hard work, and unwavering faith, the church moved to its permanent home at 835 East Warner Rd, Chandler. This journey was guided by the divine mandate in Haggai 1:8:

“Build me a house, that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord.

A Decade of God’s Faithfulness

Today, under the leadership of Apostle Akomeah and Reverend Edmund Eghan, we stand in awe of God’s goodness. As we celebrate 10 years of His divine power and guidance, we give Him all the glory and seek His wisdom for the years ahead. As one body in Christ, we continue to grow in love and unity, just as Ephesians 4:16 declares:

“From him, the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
